Tech Everybody Getting Ready for Fall Show.
Vicki Luse (Techie)-
1) What Have you done to get ready for the show?
To prepare for noises off i have spent a lot of time building. and soon we will be getting all the lights set up and putting the finishing touches on the set. then we spend hours upon hours reahearsing with the cast of noises off to create our finished show.
2) Why are you on crew for this Show?
I am on the crew for noises off because i think its really fun. you learn a lot about lighting, sounds, and buildidng as well as meeting a lot of new people. the group their has a really good dinamic and its a lot of fun.
3) What is you favorite part of the show process?
My favorite part of each show is kinda tied between building and the finished show. the building process is a lot of work but its rlly fun to see the set grow until its really cool. once its done it feels good to see all the hard work youve done turn into something that other people can enjoy.
Leah Riddle (Actor)-
1) What have you done in preparation for the show?
We did characterization games and did a lot of read throughs. Then we started blocking the first act then third then second.
2) What is your favorite part of the show?
My favorite part of the show would have to be the second act because we turn the set around and then the audience can see all the drama going on back stage.
2A) Do you think the drama that happens well acting backstage in this show is like backstage in every other show?
In some ways it is the same but a lot of what happens backstage in this show would never happen backstage any other show.
3) How many shows have you done at EVHS? How many in have you ever been in?
This will be my 3rd show at eastview i did Annie and Bravo last year. I have been in probably 23 shows i think.
3A) Being in so many different shows what was you favorite show you were ever in?
My Favorite show i was in would have to be Annie in the Winter of 2009 because it is a great classic show and there was a hugh cast and had the biggest set in Eastview history.
Rob Rachow (Director/Tech Director)-
1) What are you doing to prepare for this show?
for this show i have read the scrip many times more than any other show, i have watched the movie, watch the dvd of the last time we did this show. tech wise we have had a good tech turn out so the set is close to being done and this set is hard because it is a 2 story house on a lazy Suzan.
2) How many shows have you been involved in at EVHS?
I have been involved with over 50 plays/musicals at Eastview and if you were to include the dance shows and other types of shows it would be well over 100.
3) Are the new freshman living up to your exceptions?
So far the freshman have been good but you never quite know how there are till after the 1st musical this year bravo because then they see just how much work it is. then we loose some and this year with all the freshman there will be some dropping out.
